Abram Brummett is an assistant professor in the Department of Foundational Medical Studies at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. Dr. Brummett's primary areas of research include the role of conscience in health care, clinical ethics expertise, clinical deception, and neuroethics. Prior to his work in bioethics, Dr. Brummett served as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Kosrae Micronesia where he taught philosophy, history, and English at the College of Micronesia, and did a lot of fishing.
