Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins
Adam Seth Levine is the SNF Agora Institute Associate Professor of Health Policy and Management in the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins. Many questions pique his interest and excitement, such as when ordinary citizens become engaged in civic life and with what impact and how people with diverse forms of expertise such as researchers, practitioners, and policymakers collaborate to tackle problems. He has published research findings addressing these questions in a variety of political science, public health, transportation planning, climate change, communication, law, and economics journals, as well as in a book entitled American Insecurity published by Princeton University Press. His second book, tentatively entitled Collaborate Now! How Expertise Becomes Useful in Civic Life, is forthcoming. He is also President and co-founder of research4impact, a nonprofit that creates powerful new collaborative relationships among researchers, practitioners, and policymakers.
