Isabel O'Sullivan (she/her) is a Pre-Doctoral Clinical Ethics Fellow and 4th year medical student at the University of Michigan. She is from Miami, FL, and completed her undergraduate degree at Harvard University. Prior to medical school, she worked at McLean Hospital in Cambridge, MA as a counselor for women with borderline personality disorder. Through this work, she became passionate about understanding and overcoming barriers to care for the "difficult" patient. Her clinical and research interests include patient-provider relationships, decision-making capacity, personality disorders, and factitious disorders. She is currently applying into Psychiatry for residency.
