Danish Zaidi, MD, MTS, MBE, is a physician in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He completed residency in internal medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital where he was on faculty for the Professional Responsibility course for first-year medical students at Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Zaidi earned his medical degree at Wake Forest, his Master of Bioethics at Harvard Medical School, and his Master of Theological Studies at Harvard Divinity School. His research interests are at the intersection of bioethics, cardiovascular disease, and health policy and his work has been published in leading journals including American Journal of Bioethics, Heart, and Hastings Center Report. He has served on the board of the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities and was nominated in 2021 by the President of the American Medical Association (AMA) to a 3-year term on the AMA Council of Ethical & Judicial Affairs.
