Dr. Radwany is Professor of Medicine at NEOMED and Adjunct Professor in the Division of Palliative Medicine at the Ohio State University and Visiting Professor at the University of Arizona as well as Medical Director of Grace House Akron, a residence for homeless hospice patients. He currently focuses on teaching palliative care in both Ohio and Arizona since retiring in September 2022 after 36 years of active practice. Previously he worked for as a palliative medicine physician at Ohio State’s James Cancer Center for 4 years. Prior to that he spent 32 years at Summa Health in Akron, Ohio where he established a comprehensive palliative care and hospice program across multiple hospitals, a Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship and helped develop training programs in pastoral care and pain and palliative pharmacy. He also served as Ethics Committee Chair for 20 years. He has worked, published, and presented nationally and internationally on palliative medicine, clinical bioethics, postgraduate medical education and program development in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
