Nikki is a nurse entrepreneur with almost 20 years of experience in coaching, leading and developing nurses. She helps to retain nurses of color transitioning from academic to clinical settings through a coach leadership process that enhances self-reflective practices and reduces biased patient-provider interactions. Her focus is on equipping nurses with inclusive leadership skills by providing them with the tools to confidently address issues of biased care. Her services have the unmatched ability to launch nurses into leadership roles by using innovative coach leadership techniques. Being one of few nurse experts offering an online accredited course focusing on the structural competencies of integrating racial justice into practice, Nikki is an influencer. She is the published author of a workbook, The Clinician's Guide to Microaggressions & Unconscious Bias, which is a step-by-step pocket guide for healthcare leaders to practice health equity. Her vision is to impact nurse retention by keeping nurses of color engaged, informed and empowered.
