Tyler Ostrowski is a PGY1 resident physician at Albany Medical Center, Albany, New York in the Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery training program, who has worked closely with the Alden March Bioethics Institute, Albany, New York in collaboration on many projects over four years. He is a recent graduate from Albany Medical College, Albany, New York in the Class of 2023 with an MD with Distinction in Advocacy.
Tyler is passionate about mentorship, bioethics, health systems analysis, public policy, and the role medical education plays on physicians’ practice patterns throughout their careers. He has served as a Research Assistant at the Alden March Bioethics Institute, as a student member of the Center's Quality Improvement Committee, as a voting member of the College's Admissions Committee, and as a Co-founder of the single-issue advocacy group Let's Amplify NY, group that champions financial equity in relation to pediatric hearing aid acquisition and insurance coverage for all. He has presented several studies both locally and nationally and has published 12 peer-reviewed manuscripts and abstracts on various topics associated with Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Infectious Disease, Health Systems Analysis, and Basic Science.
