Dr. Elizabeth Chuang is an Associate Professor of Family and Social Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York, USA. She has practiced palliative medicine at Montefiore Medical Center since 2012 and has provided clinical ethics consultation since 2018. Dr. Chuang’s research focuses on the role of clinician bias in racial disparities in quality of end-of-life care. She receives funding from the National Institute of Minority Health and Health Disparities. She uses CBPR methods to develop training materials for physicians to reduce the effects of bias in communication.
